Construction Worker Injured In Fall

Mr. P was a forty-two (42) year old steel laborer who fractured his pelvis, low back and sacrum after falling from a steel beam at a construction site. While he reasonably recovered from his work injuries, he was permanently restricted from performing work as a construction laborer. He received compensation benefits for four (4) years until the case settled for the sum of $325,000.00.

Mechanic Shatters Elbow At Work

Mr. K was employed as a mechanic for a small company when he tripped and fell over a jack lift and landed on his right shoulder and elbow. X-rays showed that he had shattered his elbow in five (5) places. Surgery to the elbow performed on the following day proved unsuccessful. An attempt to return to work also failed. A second surgery to the elbow was performed nine (9) months later. While capable of performing light duty work, he was restricted from returning to his time of injury job. The parties entered into a Compromise & Release Agreement for the sum of $120,000.00

Truck Driver Injures Hip/Back Climbing Out Of Cab

Mr. W was an over the road truck hauler for a large food distributor when he injured his hip and low back while stepping out of the cab of the hauler to the ground. Liability was contested throughout the litigation. Mr. W underwent surgery which improved his condition but restricted him from returning to his time of injury job.
